Location

Mara Governors Camp is set in the best game-viewing area of the legendary Masai Mara, home to the biggest concentration of animals and birds in Africa, the entire camp is under canvas with all the comforts of a five-star hotel.

Mara Governors Camp setting is magical. So much so that almost a century ago it was reserved exclusively for Kenya’s colonial Governors and their Royal visitors. It nestles in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, it’s waters teeming with hippos and crocodile

Rooms

Some of the 38 tents line the riverbank, with uninterrupted views over the Mara River; others have views across the sweeping plains. Created in 1972 Governors’ Camp set new standards in luxury for a tented camp. Everything is under canvas, all tents have en-suit bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing toilets.

3 Days Masai mara Kenya Safari

Day 1

Depart for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya's world reknowned game reserve. Stop enroute at the Great Rift Valley for the stunning views. Arrive before lunch.

The afternoon gamedrives allows spotting of the unrivalled wildlife in the park. Spot the wildlide in Masai Mara including all the big five i.e lions,elephants,leopard,buffalo,rhino.
Dinner and overnight at mara governors camp(4 stars)or equivalent.

Day 2

Full day in Masai Mara. You enjoy two gamedrives today, one in the morning before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon. As your safari is private your gamedrive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon.

You may also choose to have a full day gamedrive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch.Return is in the evening for dinner and overnight at mara governors camp.

Day 3

At the break of dawn you enjoy your final gamedrive and departure for Nairobi after an early morning gamedrive and breakfast. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
