Aberdares-Samburu-Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara-Ngorongoro-Serengeti-L.Manyara

14days/13 Nights.

Day 1. Nairobi/Aberdares.
Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport in the morning,Meet our company representative.Depart and drive to the forested highlands of the Aberdares arriving in time for lunch.

Aberdare national park is located 180 km from Nairobi.

The park contains a wide range of landscapes - from the mountain peaks that rise to 14,000 feet above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Moorland, bamboo forests and rainforests are found at lower altitudes.

Animals easily observed include the lion, leopard,elephants,baboon, black and white Colobus monkey, and sykes monkey,golden cat and the bongo,forest antelope,eland,spotted and serval cats.

The Aberdare National Park also contains a large population of the black rhino.Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park.

After lunch at the Base hotel, transfer to your Tree Hotel for game watching at the flood-lit water hole. Dinner and overnight at the Tree hotel. (Fullboard).

Day 2. Aberdares /Samburu.
Leave Aberdares after breakfast and you drive to the north rugged semi desert region arriving in time for lunch at Samburu lodge. Afternoon game drive.

Samburu National Reserve is located north of Nairobi, and was established in the 1970's.

Samburu Reserve is 40 square miles in size; temperature during the day is hot, but tends to cool during the night

Samburu National Reserve is very peaceful and attracts animals because of River Uaso Nyiro (meaning "brown water) that runs through it and the mixture of acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grass vegetation.

Dinner and overnight at Samburu lodge /Serena lodge/Samburu Sopa Lodge(Fullboard).

Day 3 Samburu.
Early morning and afternoon game viewing drive at Samburu in search of the rarely found species of wild game like the rare liver-red reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, the long necked gerenuk antelopes. beisa Oryx, blue flanked Somali ostrich, vulturine guinea fowl and also lions,leopards and plenty of other plains game. In between meals there is optional visit to the Samburu villages if clients so wish. All meals and overnight at Samburu lodge/ Serena lodge/Samburu Sopa Lodge(Fullboard).

Day 4. Samburu/Lake Nakuru National Park.
Early Morning Breakfast at lodge in Samburu and then depart southwards via Thomson falls for a brief stop before you proceed arriving Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at lake Nakuru lodge/Sarova Lion hill.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in central Kenya.Afternoon game viewing at the Pink lake referred so for it's thousands of pink flamingos and other birdlife-it's a bird watchers paradise.

It has several species of animals, it is a Rhino sanctuary and the "big five" except the Elephant can be seen here, look for warthogs and water bucks as you leave for dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge/Sarova Lion hill lodge.

Day 5. Nakuru/Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Early Breakfast and game viewing as you depart for Masai Mara crossing the loita plains, view scenarios enroute including Lake Elementaita, Mt.Logonot, as well see red-clad maasai warriors tend their multi-colored herds amongst plains game. Game viewing enroute to lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive inside the scenic park well known for great concentration of wildgame.

The Masai Mara reserve is in south-western Kenya.
Named for the Maasai people (the traditional inhabitants of the area) and the Mara River which divides it, it is famous for its exceptional population of game and the annual migration of the wildebeest every July and August, a migration so immense it is called the Great Migration.

The Masai Mara is most famous for its lions. All other members of the "Big Five" are to be found in the Masai Mara

Dinner and overnight at Mara sopa lodge/Mara Simba lodge(Fullbaord) .

Day 6. Maasai Mara National Reserve.
A full day to explore the magic Mara, Breakfast at your lodge and leave with picnic lunches for a full day of game viewing inside the Park. Search for wild game including the huge black manned lions for which Mara is famous for,cheetah, African buffalo, wildebeest (gnus), zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common etc,. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/Mara Simba lodge. (Fullboard).

Day 7.Maasai Mara/Nairobi/Amboseli
Early breakfast at lodge and depart for Nairobi arriving for lunch, afternoon depart for Amboseli at the foot of the mighty snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro,Africa's highest peak.

Set on the Kenyan plains with Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop in the distance, Amboseli is a "must-do" for most visitors to Kenya.It is the 3rd most visited park in Kenya.

The park is world-famous for its substantial population of African Elephants which can be seen in herds of over 100 individuals. In particular the large bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in the animal kingdom.

260 km from the capital city Nairobi, Amboseli National Park is the third most visited game area in Kenya after Maasai Mara National Reserve and Nakuru National Park.

. Arrive Amboseli ,enroute game viewing as you proceed to Amboseli Serena Lodge /Amboseli Sopa lodge for dinner and overnight.(Fullboard).

Day 8.Amboseli.
Early Morning game drive(6:30am-9:00am)Return to lodge for breakfast. At 1600hrs take another game viewing drive inside the park.Amboseli hosts a great number of game including the
big five;elephants,lions,leopards,buffallo and rhino.

Also the great view of mount kilimanjaro is another attraction in this park as the mountain is clearly visible.

Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/Amboseli Sopa Lodge.(Fullboard).

Day 9. Amboseli/Lake Manyara National Park
Morning game drive and proceed for Namanga Border town, Pick up Namanga Border town, Crossover to Tanzania arriving Arusha at 1200hrs, Lunch at Arusha Impala Hotel. After lunch proceed to Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park is a national park in Arusha Region, Tanzania.

It is a shallow fresh-water lake in Tanzania,it is also the home of a diverse set of landscapes and wildlife.

Lake Manyara National Park is 329 km², the lake's alkaline waters cover approximately 231 km² .

While most known for baboons, the lake and its environs is also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs and giraffes.

Lake Manyara provides opportunities for ornithologists keen on viewing and observing over 300 migratory birds.

Day 10. Serengeti
After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara for Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge, with Game drive and Picnic Lunch enroute. The park covers 12,944km2 of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcrops commonly known as ‘kopjes’ in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge/similar. (Fullboard).

Day 11. Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast take a packed lunch with you and continue with game viewing on Serengeti Park. The migration can be seen on a long chain approximately 40 Km heading to the south western direction. Around 1230 and 1300 break for your lunch. After lunch take one hour siesta, then proceed with your game viewing following the move of the migrants on the southwest of the park. Aprox 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles and 200,000 Zebras have been recorded here. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge/similar. (Fullboard).

Day 12. Ngorongoro.
Morning Game drives in the vast Serengeti plain. Breakfast at around 0900am.Afternoon Game drive and Picnic Lunch en route to Ngorongoro Sopa/similar for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge/Similar. (Fullboard).

Day 13. Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast take a Picnic lunch with you descend 610m into the crater floor for game viewing, breaking for lunch at the Lerai picnic site.

Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera.

The Crater is 610m deep and the floor is 260km² (102 square miles).Animal populations in the crater include most of the species found in East Africa, but there are no impalas , topis , oribis , giraffes or crocodiles.

All the big five are to be found at the base of the crater.However only males elephant's are found at the base and the females together with their young ones are to be seen in the forest on the wall of the crater and the males join the female only during mating periods in the forest.

The crater floor is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas dominated by Acacia xanthophloea.

The crater is home to all the big five and Hippos, cheetah, antelopes and the spotted hyena are other species commonly seen as well as flamingoes on the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge/Similar(Fullboard).

Day 14. Arusha/Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Arusha for lunch and drive back to Nairobi. Arriving Nairobi at 1830hrs.We transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight out.
