DAY 01:Arusha - Lake Manyara
Leave Arusha to Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Eunoto Maasai Lodge.

About Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara is a shallow fresh-water lake in Tanzania,it is also the home of a diverse set of landscapes and wildlife.While most known for baboons, the lake and its environs is also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs and giraffes.Lake Manyara provides opportunities for ornithologists keen on viewing and observing over 300 migratory birds.

DAY 02: Lake Manyara - Serengeti
Depart after breakfast to Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge the site for Leakey’s family discoveries of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Meals and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

DAY 03: Serengeti
A full day in Serengeti, morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

About Serengeti

The Serengeti National Park is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous for its annual migration of over one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra.The Serengeti is Tanzania's first national park and remains the flagship of the country’s tourism industry.The big five species remain the key attractions to tourists and they include lion,leopard,elephant,buffalo and rhino, but the park also supports many further species including cheetah, gazelle and giraffe as well as a large and varied bird population.

DAY 04: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Morning game drive. After breakfast depart to one of the natural wonders of the world, Ngorongoro Crater with Game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

DAY 05: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle for a full day crater tour, picnic lunch at crater. Explore the crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

About Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera.

The Crater is 610m deep and the floor is 260km² (102 square miles).Animal populations in the crater include most of the species found in East Africa, but there are no impalas , topis , oribis , giraffes or crocodiles.The crater floor is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas dominated by Acacia xanthophloea.

This lake is known by two names: Makat as the Maasai called it, meaning salt; and Magadi.The Lerai Stream drains the humid forests to the south of the Crater, and it feeds the Lerai Forest on the Crater floor - when there is enough rain, the Lerai drains into Lake Magadi as well. All the big five are to be found at the base of the crater.

DAY 06: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time and thereafter drive to JRO/Nairobi.
