DAY 01: Arusha - Lake Manyara
Leave Arusha arriving by lunch time, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Eunoto Maasai Lodge.

About Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara is a shallow fresh-water lake in Tanzania,it is also the home of a diverse set of landscapes and wildlife.While most known for baboons, the lake and its environs is also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs and giraffes.Lake Manyara provides opportunities for ornithologists keen on viewing and observing over 300 migratory birds.

DAY 02: Lake Manyara - Serengeti
After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge the archeological site of Leakey’s family. Meals and overnight at Sopa lodge.

About Serengeti

The Serengeti National Park is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous for its annual migration of over one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra.The Serengeti is Tanzania's first national park and remains the flagship of the country’s tourism industry.The big five species remain the key attractions to tourists and they include lion,leopard,elephant,buffalo and rhino, but the park also supports many further species including cheetah, gazelle and giraffe as well as a large and varied bird population.

DAY 03: Serengeti
A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

DAY 04: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro, one of the natural wonders of the world. Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

About Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera.

The Crater is 610m deep and the floor is 260km² (102 square miles).Animal populations in the crater include most of the species found in East Africa, but there are no impalas , topis , oribis , giraffes or crocodiles.The crater floor is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas dominated by Acacia xanthophloea.

This lake is known by two names: Makat as the Maasai called it, meaning salt; and Magadi.The Lerai Stream drains the humid forests to the south of the Crater, and it feeds the Lerai Forest on the Crater floor.All the big five are to be found at the base of the crater.

DAY 05: Ngorongoro Crater
After early morning breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, you will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle. Explore the crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 06: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire
After breakfast in Ngorongoro drive to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

About Tarangire

Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania.It is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park. Just a two hours drive away from Arusha, the park is a nice stop if time does not allow for a visit to Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

It is named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park.It is in this park that you will see tree climbing lions

DAY 07: Tarangire - Arusha
After breakfast go for a morning game viewing drive in Tarangire National Park. Return to the Lodge for lunch before you depart for Arusha and thereafter drive to JRO/Nairobi.
